Why do so many people complain about hospital food, and say it's crap. I actually don't think its too bad. I mean it does depend on what you order or get, but overall it isn't bad.


Jerry thrives on being needed, that's why his and Marica's relationship works so well. A perfect example of this occurred today.
We left Port Augusta and headed towards Ceduna this morning, and Marica said that she had just over 70km left in her tank. Ok we thought we would stop at the first petrol station we come across, no problems. About 20 or 30kms out of town, we came across a sign saying "No petrol for the next 126kms"........So what, are we meant to turn back and ride the 30kms back into town?

Normally you would expect to se a sign saying something like "Last petrol for 126km" or something, but no, not here. Once you are in the middle of nowhere you get told that there is no fuel. Very useful, NOT.

Anyway Jerry came and saved the day, yet again

Other than that, nothing much happened, just a long ride, with not much variety in the scenery.

Oh wait, we were about to enter Kimba, and both lanes of the road (in and out of the town) were blocked for RBT. We managed to do the test without removing our helmets (that was a first), chatted with the police for a while (in the middle of the road) then went to the local station to have a look, and swap patches. Then we finally found the only petrol station in town, and filled up. Whilst there we were photographed several times, by a petrol pump  technician, who was very impressed that a couple of ladies were riding across to Perth, he wanted to tell all his mates, and show them.

We arrived in Cenduna set up camp, in the second Caravan park we came across (who would have thought a place like this would be booked out). and settled in for the night.
