Left the Lockhart pub with the sun shining, and headed off to Deniliquin, only about 200kms away, we should make it, no problems and refuel there before continuing.
Well that is what we thought anyway.......so wasn't I surprised when Marica calls out that she has run out of fuel, (only 12kms out of town).
So now we know to make sure that when she fills up to fill it completely, and use 98 not 95.......
(Admittedly her bike is under a greater load than normal, so not as fuel efficient.)
Anyways, like all good little boy scouts, we were prepared, we unloaded her bike and filled up with the jerry can that we were carrying. (I should say, that she was carrying.......all flammables on the Vespa, and everything important on the Ninja).
We have been travelling along some roads less traveled, also known as little country roads, as oppose to the main highways
So finally we decided to call it a night, at Nhill, and set up camp for the night.
Marica's first real camping experience. I even had to explain how to set up a tent.
Sitting out by the tents, in the freezing cold, just so we could load our blog for you all, if anyone is actually reading it........
I'm reading it!! Hope you two had a good nights sleep in those tents, waking up all refreshed for another day of riding!!

I love this post; it brought back memories of my husband and I travelling through Qld in 2010, and how many times we watched the "next fuel in xxKms" signage and making sure we "topped up" before we hit that next big stretch, hoping we'd get to the next fuel stop before the service station closed for the day.
