Woo Hoo !!!!!!! We made it to Perth.
4709.5km after leaving Canberra late Saturday we arrived in not raining Perth.
After a very very very wet night, we thought "oh well we are her we will persevere even in the rain." We packed up and headed off. First point of call, the wineries, breweries, cideries, and chocolate factory, after all we are in Margaret river.
So much for wine tasting, most of the places we tried to go to were closed, something about a conference, don't know why that means they weren't open. Finally success, we found one that was open, so we went in to educate ourselves, had nothing to do with the wine tasting. We learnt about lots of things, none of them wine, and had lots of fun. After about an hour, we lefts there and headed down the road to the Margaret river chocolate factory, another necessary stop, to educate our pallets, after all you do need something to soak up all the wine. Chocolate and wine for morning tea, who could ask for more.
Returned to the winery, this time just to buy the wine, and not taste it (couldn't leave a box of wine on our bikes in a parking lot), and Lia, no we didn't buy the wine for us to drink, it was a gift.
Rode to Bussleton, went for a short walk down the jetty, return trip down this jetty was only 3.6km (that's right kilometers not meters),and no, we didn't take the train.
We had lunch then back on the bikes for our last long leg (in this direction) to Perth.
And we made it to all the way here, Woo Hoo!!!!
